With Chill OUT the groove trio's work is enriched by several facets and the Funk horizon is widened up. SÖNKE FEICK
Well acquainted with various jazz styles from mainstream to electric fusion, he shapes the sound behind the keys of bands like "Subjam" or "Akio & Band" and, most recently, with "FUNKTIONALITY". Here he manages to combine groovy riffs with furious jazz solos, thus giving the funk board its very own facet.

HEINZ LUDWIG
has proven his bass grooves in numerous funk projects.
 With FUNKTIONALITY he can realize his versatile bass style of cool grooves. Not for nothing he is called the bass minister.

MALIK CUMART
served the drums and sang with the "Edgar Rubin Band", before he brought the ultimate streetfunk to Northern Germany as mastermind of the international funk'n'soul band "Deep" in the 1990s. With FUNKTIONALITY he is now at the drums as rhythm master. With the groove boost turned on and driving beats, his playing forms the backbone of the groove trio.
